are one-on-one personal training sessions designed to meet the specific physical
fitness needs of the individual client. An initial fitness assessment is completed with identification of problem areas.
Sessions include use of the Pilates studio equipment in addition to instruction for a home program.
are designed for work-out partners that would like to experience the Pilates studio
and enjoy the social aspects of working out together. As with the private sessions, the clients receive a combination of
exercise on the equipment as well as mat work. Duo sessions place greater emphasis on the mat exercise and involve a lesser
degree of specific custom programming as compared to the private sessions. It is beneficial, but not essential, that partners
have a similar degree of experience with the Pilates approach and/or comparable levels of general fitness.
are offered at the Pilates Fitness Studio and involve an intimate, small group atmosphere
Studio Classes allow participants to receive mat class instruction in combination with use of small apparatus and limited use of
the Pilates Equipment. This class offers the "best of both worlds" for individuals interested in training with equipment while
also receiving mat class instruction.
are offered for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Group mat classes involve a
series of synchronized movements performed from various positions on the floor. Beginning classes are a progressive series and
attending the intro class is required for participation. The beginning class is recommended for all individuals who have not
previously experienced Pilates-based exercise.
